This certification will enable you to prepare tax returns for those taxpayers living or working in the United States on a VISA. Many foreign students at the University of South Carolina utilize the VITA service.
International: Covers the completion of returns for taxpayers, military and non-military, living outside the United States and assisted by volunteers working at U.S. Embassies and Consulates or military installations. This requires certification in Advanced. Includes Foreign Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credit.
