Tax Law Certification Training for VITA
In-person certification training for Volunteers. This session will cover both Basic and Advanced topics. The OUTCOME at the end of training is certify in either Basic or Advanced tax law to enable you to volunteer in the VITA program.
Space is limited due to safety protocols. Masks are required; you will maintain six-foot separation from other volunteers. If you are ill for any reason or are exhibiting common symptoms attributable to a cold, the flu or COVID, please stay home.
What to bring:
- Your mask. You will wear it at all times;
- A laptop;
- Training material (Pub 4012 and 6744). Download these from here, or come to The Cooperative Ministry office to pick up a copy;
- Note taking material;
- BYOD (Bring Your Own Drink)... water, coffee or tea.
