Responsibilities include: Greet all taxpayers visiting the site to create a pleasant atmosphere Provide taxpayers with intake forms and answer non-tax questions Ensure the taxpayer has brought all required documents to verify taxpayer identity and to complete his/her tax return Manage waiting and entry areas to maintain the flow of taxpayers according to site operational procedures The volunteer fulfilling this role must be certified in Standards of Conduct and Intake/Interview/Quality Review.

Prepare and review tax returns at Seven Oaks Recreation Center. Taxpayers that come for service will undergo an intake interview in a designated area, provide their tax documents, and return same day to pick-up their completed tax return.

As a volunteer, you will remain in separate workspaces to perform your volunteer shift.

Prepare and review tax returns at Columbia College in the Women's Business Center. This opportunity is for students AND friends of Columbia College and the University of South Carolina. A new site for 2026! You do not have to be a student to volunteer here.
