Student volunteers prepare tax returns remotely in Room 111, DMSB utilizing GetYourRefund and TaxSlayer. The student team will remotely prepare the tax return, connect with the taxpayer through GYR case management software to review their return, and file the return with taxpayer consent
All COVID-19 safety protocols established by the University of South Carolina will be adhered to.
- Social distancing maintained at all times.
- Masks required. In accordance with CDC guidance, face shields are not a substitute for masks. (Masks and face shields available, if a student volunteer forgets to bring, or upon student volunteer request)
- Hand sanitizing stations placed throughout workspaces.
- Disinfecting wipes/solution available to wipe down work surfaces.
