Prepare and review tax returns at Garners Ferry Technology Center.
Taxpayers that come for service will undergo an intake interview, provide their tax documents, and return at a later time to pick-up their completed tax return.
As a volunteer tax preparer, you will not interact with clients/taxpayers. You will remain in separate workspaces at the library to perform your volunteer shift.
All COVID-19 safety protocols will be adhered to.
- Social distancing maintained at all times.
- Masks required. In accordance with CDC guidance, face shields are not a substitute for masks. (Masks and face shields available, if a volunteer forgets to bring or upon volunteer request)
- Hand sanitizing stations placed throughout workspaces.
- Disinfecting wipes/solution available to wipe down work surfaces.
