Volunteer: Tax Greeter - NorthStar Christian Center - 2026Responsibilities include:
Greet all taxpayers visiting the site to create a pleasant atmosphere
Provide taxpayers with intake forms and answer non-tax questions
Ensure the taxpayer has brought all required documents to verify taxpayer identity and to complete his/her tax return
Manage waiting and entry areas to maintain the flow of taxpayers according to site operational procedures
The volunteer fulfilling this role must be certified in Standards of Conduct and Intake/Interview/Quality Review.

Volunteer: Tax Preparer - NorthStar Christian Center - 2026Prepare and review tax returns at NorthStar Christian Center, in the Northeast.
Taxpayers that come for service will undergo an intake interview in the welcome center area, provide their tax documents, and return at a later time to pick-up their completed tax return. As a volunteer, you will remain in separate workspaces in the auditorium to perform your volunteer shift. Program: VITA Prepare and review tax returns at NorthStar Christian Center, in the Northeast.
